LH Holds Emergency Meeting on COVID-19... "Thoroughly Manage Safety of Residents and Workers"

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Jiwon] Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) announced on the 25th that it held an emergency inspection meeting related to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) on the 24th at the LH headquarters in Jinju, Gyeongnam.
This meeting was organized to check the safety and future plans for LH employees, tenants of rental housing, and construction site workers amid the nationwide surge in COVID-19 confirmed cases. The meeting was directly presided over by LH President Byeon Changheum.
LH has so far established an emergency response organization at its headquarters and sites to disseminate behavioral guidelines and response protocols to employees and construction site workers.
Additionally, proactive measures have been taken to prevent virus spread, including close management of concerned employees.
Through this meeting, LH reviewed the response status so far, checked for any symptomatic employees nationwide, support status for tenants in rental complexes, any unusual occurrences among construction site workers, and corresponding measures taken.
In case of emergencies such as confirmed cases, detailed plans for office closures, disinfection procedures, and emergency duty for essential personnel were also thoroughly reviewed.

President Byeon urged at the meeting, "Until the situation is resolved, do not let your guard down, and strictly manage the safety of employees, tenants, and construction workers within the government's quarantine system and control the situation."
