Live Broadcast of 'Ssireum's Joy' Finals Without Audience in Changwon
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Sharon] Changwon City, Gyeongnam Province (Mayor Heo Seong-mu) announced on the 21st that the event "The Holy Land of Ssireum, Changwon" will be broadcast live nationwide through the KBS "Ssireum's Glory" finals on the 22nd. Due to concerns over the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), the event will be held without spectators.
Changwon City and KBS made this decision in response to concerns about the rapid local spread of COVID-19.
The first Taegukjangsa final match of "Ssireum's Glory" will be broadcast live for about 110 minutes starting at 9:15 PM on the 22nd. It will be rebroadcast worldwide through KBS World to promote "The Holy Land of Ssireum, Changwon."
