Gyeongnam Province Proposes 70 Key Tasks as Pledges for the 21st General Election
Expectations for Accelerated Regional Development Through Pledges Regardless of Party Affiliation
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Woo-kwon] Gyeongnam Province proposed on the 20th to provide 70 core tasks, consisting of major provincial administration issues, to each political party for reflection in the 21st general election pledges.
The 70 core tasks of Gyeongnam Province consist of the 3+2 core tasks, which are being prioritized this year, and other major current issues. The 3+2 core tasks include the three major core tasks announced by Governor Kim Kyung-soo at the beginning of the year: 'Youth Special Province', 'Education Talent Special Province', and 'Southeast Mega City Platform', as well as tasks included in the two policy directions of 'Innovation and Growth' and 'Perceptible Change'.
In addition, requests were made to reflect legislative tasks such as the promotion of the Materials Research Institute and the enactment of the Basic Community Act, as well as large-scale SOC projects such as National Road No. 5 and the Namhae~Yeosu Undersea Tunnel in the pledges.
