3 Additional COVID-19 Cases Confirmed in Iran
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] On the 20th (local time), the Iranian Ministry of Health announced that there were 2 and 1 new confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) infection, respectively.
With additional confirmed cases emerging in the central city of Qom and the west-central city of Arak, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 infections in Iran has increased to 5. Qom and Arak, where the new cases were reported on the 20th, are approximately 100 km apart.
All of them are Iranian nationals, and specific personal information such as gender and age has not yet been disclosed. Local media reported that one of them is a doctor.
