China and Japan Receive COVID-19 Diagnostic Kits for Confirmed Patients Support
[Asia Economy Reporter Seong Giho] China has provided diagnostic kits for confirming cases of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) to Japan.
The Chinese Embassy in Japan stated in a Q&A format post on its website on the 20th, "Recently, COVID-19 infections have been continuously occurring in Japan," and added, "China is paying close attention to this and empathizes with the suffering."
It continued, "Upon hearing that Japan was lacking nucleic acid diagnostic kits, we immediately conveyed our willingness to cooperate and assist Japan and took action."
