After an interview with reporters following the United Future Party candidate interviews held at the National Assembly Members' Office Building, Leader Hwang said, "There are many senior members in our United Future Party who think about the future and the party. They will come together with a shared will."
The United Future Party intends to attract senior party members to Seoul to plan the so-called 'Hangang Belt,' but apart from Hwang's candidacy in Jongno, the situation remains uncertain. In response, Leader Hwang said, "I cannot disclose every individual's story, but it will not end with me alone." He also revealed that his existing apartment in Jamwon-dong is being settled due to his Jongno candidacy.
Leader Hwang explained, "After declaring my candidacy in Jongno, I was asked about strategies to win there, and I answered sincerely in my own way." Jongno is the political number one district and the frontline to fight against the failures of the Moon Jae-in administration. Jongno is right under the Blue House. With a determination to definitely fight and win against the Moon administration, I decided to run in Jongno," he said.
