Rep. Lee Jin-bok of the United Future Party Also Withdraws... 10th in PK Region
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Ji-eun] It was reported on the 19th that Lee Jin-bok, a three-term member of the Future United Party representing Busan-Gyeongnam (PK), will not run in the general election.
Lee is expected to hold a press conference at 3 p.m. that day to announce his decision not to run.
Lee's decision marks the 10th withdrawal among PK lawmakers from the United Party. Previously, nine PK lawmakers, including Kim Moo-sung and Kim Do-eup, declared they would not run, while only three from Daegu-Gyeongbuk (TK) have made similar announcements.

Lee, a former mayor of Dongnae District in Busan, served as the head of the general planning team for the general election in the former Liberty Korea Party.
