A Man in His 30s Arrested for Setting Fire to House During a Marital Dispute

Jeonbuk Jeongeup Police Station announced on the 19th that they have arrested and are investigating A (39) on charges of arson of a dwelling (arson of a residential building) for setting fire to his one-room apartment.
A is suspected of starting the fire at his one-room apartment in Suseong-dong, Jeongeup-si, at around 10:41 p.m. on the 18th.
There were no casualties from the fire, but the one-room apartment's interior of 69㎡ and home appliances were damaged, with property damage estimated at 26 million won by the fire department.
