NH Nonghyup Financial, Delivers Care Packages to Vulnerable Groups Amid COVID-19

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Min-young] NH Nonghyup Financial Group has stepped up to help vulnerable groups struggling due to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
On the 18th, Nonghyup Financial announced that it visited Yeongdeungpo District Office in Seoul the previous day to sponsor Korean agricultural products and hand sanitizers for neighbors facing difficulties due to the suspension of free meal services caused by COVID-19.
The sponsored relief supplies will be delivered to low-income residents in need through the Yeongdeungpo Social Welfare Council.
On the same day, Kim Kwang-soo, Chairman of Nonghyup Financial, visited the homes of elderly living alone in Yeongdeungpo District to personally deliver packages of Korean agricultural products and express his sympathy.
Chairman Kim said, “We want to support those who are having an especially difficult winter due to COVID-19, such as the suspension of free meal services, so that they can overcome the crisis in better health. Nonghyup Financial will continue to do its best to help overcome COVID-19 and support neighbors in hardship.”
