Daejeon City Strengthens Cooperation Among Practical Agencies for Urban Regeneration New Deal Project
[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] On the 17th, Daejeon City announced that more than 30 officials from five autonomous districts, Daejeon Urban Corporation, Korea Land and Housing Corporation, and the Urban Regeneration Support Center gathered at the Daejeon Sejong Institute conference room to hold the 'Urban Regeneration Working Council.'
The council plans to hold monthly meetings to mutually share strategies and know-how for promoting the Urban Regeneration New Deal projects and to strengthen collaboration and communication among governance organizations.
On this day, the council was organized as an opportunity to share the city's project application promotion strategy and seek response measures based on the Urban Regeneration New Deal project briefing session announced by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport on the 21st of last month.

Ryu Taek-yeol, head of the Urban Regeneration and Housing Headquarters of the city, said, "Through the working council, we will strengthen collaboration and communication among urban regeneration governance organizations," adding, "Furthermore, we will focus administrative efforts on selecting projects for this year's Urban Regeneration New Deal to enable more citizens to experience the effects of urban regeneration."
