From the end of January for three weeks, visiting nurses and welfare planners visited 1,403 small-scale tourist accommodations such as Airbnb and Hanok guesthouses, focusing on checking for symptomatic individuals or Chinese guests together with district office officials. The comprehensive inspection revealed that a total of 494 Chinese guests had visited China within the past 14 days, and none of them showed symptoms.
Inspections and education were also conducted to ensure that accommodation managers were properly following prevention guidelines and response procedures. The city plans to continue monitoring small-scale tourist accommodations until the COVID-19 situation is resolved.

Chatdong visiting nurses are also deployed to district-specific screening clinics, emergency quarantine call centers, public health centers, and health sub-centers to provide related guidance and consultation support. Additionally, together with welfare planners, they conduct intensive monitoring by calling daily or as needed to check on the well-being and health status of high-risk groups such as those with chronic or respiratory diseases and elderly living alone. If respiratory symptoms such as fever, cough, or sore throat are detected during this process, they coordinate referral to public health center screening clinics.
