Park Ju-min "Im Jong-seok as Democratic Party Joint Election Committee Chairman? No Discussion Has Taken Place"
[Asia Economy Reporter Heo Midam] On the 13th, Park Jumin, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea, said regarding some reports that former Blue House Chief of Staff Lim Jongseok would serve as the Democratic Party's joint election countermeasures committee chairman for the April 15 general election, "There has been no official discussion or decision yet."
Park appeared on MBC Radio's 'Kim Jongbae's Focus' that day and said, "One of the things we discuss at the Supreme Council meetings, and the party leader also mentions, is that we should not believe media reports as they are," adding, "There may be someone considering this, but it has not been discussed at the Supreme Council."
Regarding the Future Korea Party, a satellite party for proportional representation of the Liberty Korea Party, Park said, "This is my personal analysis, but I think they will take at least 10 seats, and possibly 14 or 15 seats."
