Candidate Applications Accepted from 17th to 19th
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Yoseop] The Liberty Korea Party Busan City Party Nomination Management Committee announced that it will open candidate applications for five days from the 12th to the 16th on the party's website for the Busan Jung-gu Mayor election, Nam-gu 2nd Metropolitan Council member election, and Saha-gu Ga Basic Council member election related to the April 15 by-elections. Applications will be accepted from the 17th to the 19th for three days, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Eligibility requires candidates to have the right to be elected under the Public Official Election Act (25 years or older) and to meet the responsible party member requirements at the time of application. The submitted documents include a total of 25 types, including the application form provided by the party, and must be submitted in person by the applicant or a proxy holding a power of attorney.

The City Party Nomination Management Committee is composed of five members: Yoo Jae-jung, the City Party Chairman, as the chairman, three insiders, and two outsiders. After the candidate application deadline, document screening, interviews, and, if necessary, public opinion surveys and primaries will be conducted to select candidates.
