Kang Yong-seok's Side: "Completely Unknown People... Arbitrarily Assuming Vague Falsehoods as Facts"
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Byung-don] Lawyer Kang Yong-seok, who is suspected of inciting false accusations against famous blogger 'Dodommam' Kim Mina, has countersued the lawyers who filed a complaint against him for instigating false accusations.
On the afternoon of the 12th, Kang's side announced that they had filed a complaint with the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office against lawyers Kim Sang-gyun and Kim Ho-in for false accusations.
On the same day, Kang's side stated in a press release, "We do not know the accused at all," and added, "They appear to have no knowledge of Kang or Kim and seem to have filed the complaint solely based on text messages from an article published by the entertainment-focused online media Dispatch."
They continued, "However, those text messages were entirely fabricated and edited, and there are significant differences compared to the original KakaoTalk messages Kang possesses," adding, "Ultimately, they not only know nothing about the case itself but also have never reviewed related materials or understood the case details, yet they rashly assumed false information as fact and filed a complaint, which clearly constitutes false reporting and the crime of false accusation."
Furthermore, Kang's side criticized, "Notably, Kim, who actually filed the complaint, was not accused of false accusation, but only Kang, her legal representative, was sued," and added, "This seems to be a malicious attempt to increase their recognition by staging the submission of a complaint against a celebrity, appearing in numerous media outlets, and using it for business purposes as well as boosting views on their YouTube channel to increase advertising revenue."

Previously, lawyers Kim Sang-gyun and Kim Ho-in filed a complaint against Kang at the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office on the 11th, accusing him of false accusation. They claimed that Kang had induced a false accusation in 2015, alleging that Kim was sexually assaulted by a head of a securities firm, despite there being no such incident, with the intent to obtain a large settlement.
