[Asia Economy Reporter Suyeon Woo] Chung Euisun, Executive Vice Chairman of Hyundai Motor Group, is expanding his management activities by taking on the role of a private diplomat promoting a hydrogen society in front of U.S. governors and government officials. Notably, this was the first time the reception was held at the Korean Ambassador’s residence in the U.S., and simultaneously, it was the first time a Korean private businessperson showcased national cutting-edge technology at this event. Attendees noted that this was possible because Hyundai Motor Group’s hydrogen fuel cell technology is recognized as world-class, and because Executive Vice Chairman Chung has a clear vision for a hydrogen society.
