View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Dae-yeol] The Central Disease Control Headquarters announced on the 10th at 9 a.m. that no additional confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus infection (Wuhan pneumonia) have been identified domestically. As of the previous afternoon, the total number of confirmed cases in the country remains 27.
Among the confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus in Korea, three patients have recovered and been discharged after being released from isolation as of the previous day. Currently, 24 patients are undergoing treatment. There are 809 suspected cases undergoing testing who have visited China within the last two weeks and are exhibiting symptoms such as fever or respiratory issues. This number decreased by 79 compared to the previous day. The number of people who have tested negative has increased to 1,940.
Including those currently under examination, the total number of suspected cases to date is 2,749. The Central Disease Control Headquarters releases updates on the status of novel coronavirus patients twice daily at 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.
