A resident of Seongdong-gu is receiving free architectural consultation from a professional architect at the 'Architectural Law Consultation Office' on the first floor of the district office.
View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Seongdong-gu (Mayor Jeong Won-oh) operates the "2020 Free Architectural Legal Consultation Office" every Tuesday and Thursday from 2 PM to 5 PM with architects from the "Seongdong-gu Architects Association."
The "Free Architectural Legal Consultation Office" has been running since 2014 to improve residential welfare for residents who face difficulties due to lack of specialized knowledge about construction costs and countermeasures during the building process but cannot receive legal assistance.
Until last year, more than 1,800 residents have used the service, which provides guidance on all matters related to construction activities such as new construction and major repairs, as well as technical information on maintenance and improvement. When necessary, consulting architects visit sites to offer proactive and practical consultations, making the service highly popular among residents.
The consulting architects are experienced professionals recommended by the "Seongdong-gu Architects Association" and appointed as "Seongdong-gu Architectural Legal Consulting Architects," volunteering their talents.
The consultation office is located on the first floor of the district office for easy access by residents and can be used freely without a separate reservation.
