Women's Top Shopping Service 'Zigzag' Surpasses 20 Million Downloads
Achieved Total Sales of 30 Billion KRW in 2019
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Croquis.com (CEO Seo Jeong-hoon) announced on the 6th that the women's shopping mall aggregation service 'Zigzag' has reached 20 million downloads and surpassed 600 billion KRW in transaction volume last year. 'Zigzag' is a platform that brings together 3,700 leading domestic women's fashion shopping malls, allowing users to shop from different malls in a single cart and make a unified payment.
Zigzag, which charges no commission fees to shopping malls, achieved approximately 30 billion KRW in sales last year through its integrated payment service 'Z Payment', launched in the second half of last year, and its proprietary personalized recommendation model. Over the past three months, the number of shopping malls joining 'Z Payment' has been increasing rapidly by more than 40% monthly, resulting in an average monthly sales growth rate exceeding 20%.
Based on this, Zigzag is expected to surpass a cumulative transaction volume of 2 trillion KRW in the first half of this year. Zigzag records an average monthly active user (MAU) count of 2.7 million and a daily active user (DAU) count of 700,000. In the fourth quarter of 2019, it ranked first and second respectively in the 'Most Used Shopping Apps by Teens and People in Their 20s,' announced by the app analytics service WiseApp. Additionally, according to the mobile data analytics service 'App Annie,' Zigzag recorded an average user session time of 72 minutes last month, ranking first in the fashion app category.
