Expressing Gratitude to Bereaved Families for Agreeing to Use the Name of Bang Jeong-hwan Education Support Center

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Jungnang-gu (Mayor Ryu Kyung-gi) announced that it held a time to express gratitude to the bereaved family of Bang Jeong-hwan, an independence activist and children's literature writer.
The event took place at 1:40 PM on the 5th in the mayor's office on the 4th floor of the district office, attended by the Jungnang-gu mayor, Bang Il-su, the grandson of Bang Jeong-hwan, and Na Young-ui, the great-grandson. It was organized to honor the noble spirit of Bang Jeong-hwan, who devoted his life to children's education and independence, and to convey thanks for agreeing to the use of the name 'Bang Jeong-hwan Education Support Center.'
Ryu Kyung-gi, mayor of Jungnang-gu, stated, “We will spare no support for the future of children,” and added, “We plan to do our best to create an educational city, Jungnang, by preparing various educational programs.”
Jungnang-gu plans to open the Bang Jeong-hwan Education Support Center, an educational complex facility supporting children's dreams and hopes, in Sangbong-dong in February 2021.
The Bang Jeong-hwan Education Support Center will be a building with 2 basement floors and 7 above-ground floors, equipped with various spaces such as career experience learning areas, college counseling rooms, self-directed learning rooms, and lifelong education facilities.
