With a budget of 500 million KRW and support provided once a year, it is expected to help reduce the housing cost burden for households of newlywed couples without homes who registered their marriage between 2013 and 2019 and have taken out jeonse loans. Lee Jeong-geun, Director of the Urban Policy Bureau, stated, “We hope this will contribute to Changwon’s population policy by alleviating housing burdens and leading to increased marriage and birth rates, and we will continue to implement more diverse housing welfare policies in the future.”
