Emart24 "Dedicated to Strengthening Franchise Store Operational Competitiveness in 2020"
[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Emart24 is set to strengthen the operational competitiveness of its franchise stores.
Emart24 announced on the 5th that it has designated 'strengthening franchise store operational competitiveness' as its core task for this year and aims to increase individual store sales through efficient store management based on data.
To this end, Emart24 plans to focus on ▲activating the next-generation total store system and introducing the next-generation POS system ▲introducing operation management services for new and renewed stores ▲strengthening communication between franchise stores and headquarters this year.
Emart24 expects that through the 'next-generation store portal system' currently used in all stores, franchisees will be able to place orders, manage sales, and handle product management based on accurate data, which will help reduce out-of-stock and non-sale of popular products, thereby increasing sales.
Additionally, operation management services will be introduced for new stores in the first half of this year. This service, provided by headquarters, allows franchisees to handle store-related tasks more accurately and conveniently, such as settlement and financial information, product inventory checks, securing stable ordering funds, receiving reference materials for VAT filing, and managing abnormal data.
Previously, franchisees managed settlement and related tasks on their own, but due to differences in operational capabilities among stores causing difficulties for some, this service was introduced after thorough analysis. With the operation management service, franchisees can accurately understand their store’s financial status and manage profit and loss and inventory through materials provided by headquarters, enabling planned store operations.
Efforts will also be made to strengthen communication with franchisees. Emart24 plans to establish a new training course called ‘Becoming a True Merchant’ for all business owners this year, focusing on fostering an entrepreneurial mindset and store operation skills to help increase franchise store sales and profits.
Furthermore, Emart24 will continue to expand investments in renewing new and renewed stores, supporting sales activation fixtures, expanding marketing, and strengthening product competitiveness so that monthly fees can lead to increased sales for franchise stores, aiming for sustainable mutual growth.
