The postseason, where the top five teams compete, will begin on the 5th with a wildcard playoff between 4th place Home&Shopping and 5th place POSCO Chemical, and will continue for about a month. The wildcard playoff is conducted in a best-of-three format, and since 4th place Home&Shopping starts with one win, they only need one more win to advance to the quarterfinals. A Home&Shopping official said, "We will do our best to support the players so that they can focus solely on Go during the postseason."
