[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-ju] A police officer who transported Korean residents arriving on a chartered flight from Wuhan, China, tested 'negative' for the novel coronavirus infection (Wuhan pneumonia).
The National Police Agency announced on the 3rd, "The health authorities informed the Police Crisis Management Center around 10 p.m. last night that the police officer tested negative."
The police officer drove the police bus that transported Korean residents who returned from Wuhan on a chartered flight on the 31st of last month to the quarantine facility. The bus driven by this officer had a Korean resident who was confirmed as the 13th case. The officer showed cold symptoms the day before and underwent a novel coronavirus test at the local health center of his residence, fortunately receiving a negative result.

The National Police Agency stated, "The return process of the Korean residents from Wuhan involved the dedication and hard work of 36 police officers who drove the transport buses," and added, "We will spare no effort to provide full support so that they can return to their daily lives without health concerns."
