[Concall] SK Hynix "Increasing Demand for CIS Products and Expanding Supply of 20MP Sensors"
[Asia Economy Reporter Ki-min Lee] SK Hynix stated in the Q4 earnings conference call held on the 31st that "As demand for high-resolution Camera Image Sensor (CIS) products has increased recently, supply across all product lines including mid- and low-resolution sensors is becoming tight," adding, "We are continuing to increase supply of our main products with resolutions below 20 million pixels."
They continued, "Our major customers are laptop and global smartphone manufacturers, and we mainly supply mid- to low-spec products," adding, "We will maximize profitability while responding as much as possible to the supply shortages in this market."
