On the 30th, the Korea Meteorological Administration stated, "On the 31st, the entire country will be under the influence of a high-pressure system located over central China, resulting in occasional cloudiness and overcast skies. Until 3 PM, sporadic snow flurries or raindrops are expected in southern Gyeonggi, Chungcheong, and Jeolla provinces."
The KMA added, "In Gangwon Yeongdong, the northeastern mountainous areas of Gyeongbuk, and Jeju Island, snowfall of 1 to 5 cm is expected to accumulate, so special caution is required for road icing and safety accidents."
