Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology - Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information, Mutual Cooperation MOU Signed
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] The Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology (KIAT) and the Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information (KISTI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on the 30th to mutually cooperate in creating an innovation growth ecosystem based on big data.
KIAT is a comprehensive support organization in the field of industrial technology, responsible for policy research related to industrial technology, technology commercialization, international cooperation, regional innovation, materials and components, and industry-academia cooperation. KISTI is a specialized research institute that comprehensively collects and analyzes national industrial information and scientific technology data.
With the signing of this business agreement between the two institutions managing and analyzing various technical and industrial information, it is expected that support for establishing industrial technology policies based on big data will become possible in the future.
The two institutions agreed to promote information exchange related to policy trends, data sharing and joint utilization, human resource exchange, and cooperation in support projects.
