Gyeongnam Representative Library Holds 2020 Volunteer Kick-off Ceremony

View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Sharon] Gyeongnam Representative Library (Director Jeong Yeon-du) announced on the 29th that it held the ‘2020 Gyeongnam Representative Library Volunteer Launch Ceremony’ at the program operation room on the 4th floor of the main building.
The library selected 45 volunteers through an open recruitment. The volunteers, ranging in age from their 20s to their 70s, will be active in areas such as library user guidance support, organizing the reference room, storytelling, recording books for the visually impaired, and supervising the use of the youth study room.

Jeong Yeon-du, director of Gyeongnam Representative Library, said, “Since the opening, the efforts and dedication of the volunteers have been a pillar for the library to find its footing,” and added, “This year as well, we ask for the volunteers’ great efforts so that the residents visiting the library can enjoy cultural activities in a good environment.”
