Promotion of Mutual Exchange and Cooperation Projects to Expand the Base of Community Reading Population
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jeon Seong] Yeonggwang Public Library announced on the 29th that it signed a business agreement on the 28th with the Hu-eun Battalion (hereinafter Hu-eun Battalion) under the Army 31st Division to expand the base of reading population and mutual development through a cooperative system.
Through the agreement, both organizations agreed to actively cooperate in operating a mobile library, running reading culture programs and lectures, mutual promotion and support for program operation, and other matters requiring cooperation.
A representative of the Hu-eun Battalion said, “We are grateful for the mobile library support provided by Yeonggwang Public Library so far,” and added, “We hope that various programs to expand the reading population base between the Hu-eun Battalion and the public library will be supported through this agreement.”

Jang Hye-ran, director of Yeonggwang Public Library, stated, “We will actively support the healthy and vibrant military life of the soldiers of the Hu-eun Battalion, a local unit in our region, through mobile libraries, Reading Golden Bell contests, and humanities lectures,” and added, “We will actively carry out cooperative projects with the Hu-eun Battalion and discover various programs for mutual growth.”
