Naju-si Recruiting Candidates for 'Youth Employment Housing Cost Support Project'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yukbong] Naju City, Jeollanam-do (Mayor Kang In-gyu) announced on the 29th that it will recruit candidates for the ‘Youth Employment Housing Cost Support Project’ until the 21st of next month.
This project is a program in which Jeollanam-do and the city jointly support housing stability and economic independence for young people who work diligently at local small and medium-sized enterprises by providing 100,000 KRW per month for one year to eligible recipients.
The city plans to select and support a total of 33 young employed individuals this year in cooperation with Jeollanam-do.
Eligibility requirements include young people aged 18 to 39 residing in the jurisdiction who meet all of the following conditions: ▲working at a small or medium-sized enterprise located in Jeollanam-do ▲residing in a rented house (monthly rent or jeonse, with a loan of 50 million KRW or more in case of jeonse) ▲household income at or below 150% of the median income.
However, those who are recipients of housing benefits, homeowners, applicants for LH rental housing supply projects, recipients of housing-related financial support from the Korea Housing Finance Corporation, or other government and local government housing support recipients are excluded.
The city plans to finalize the recipients after reviewing the applicants for eligibility restrictions such as whether they are already receiving housing support from the national or local governments.
To apply, applicants must check the required documents posted in the announcement section on the city hall website and visit the administrative welfare center of their jurisdiction’s eup, myeon, or dong in person within the recruitment period.
If it is difficult to visit in person, a proxy may apply by presenting a power of attorney.
The support funds will be paid after verifying the rent payment details, resident registration address, and employment status at a small or medium-sized enterprise at the end of each quarter.
