Shinan-gun Tourism Council, Sharing 'Love Tea (Cha)' Volunteer Service for Lunar New Year Homebound Travelers

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Ki-woon] Sinan-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Park Woo-ryang) announced on the 29th that the Sinan-gun Tourism Council conducted a volunteer activity sharing love tea (茶) to pray for health in the New Year during the four-day Lunar New Year holiday (January 23 to January 26) at three locations: Cheonsa Bridge, Mokpo Port Passenger Terminal, and Namgang Dock in Amtae-myeon.

During this period, volunteer members of the Sinan-gun Tourism Council served carefully prepared tea and beverages to tourists visiting the beautifully illuminated Cheonsa Bridge and to hometown visitors, practicing local love by providing traffic assistance and tourism guidance to ensure a safe and comfortable visit to Sinan.

The love tea (茶) sharing volunteer activity to pray for health in the New Year continued this year following last year.

In particular, this year, along with the volunteer activity of sharing love rice cakes, local promoters directly engaged in broad tourism assistance activities such as providing Sinan-gun tourism guidance and distributing county government promotional booklets, receiving favorable reviews from returning hometown visitors.

The chairman of the Sinan-gun Tourism Council said, “Although busy preparing for the holiday, I express my gratitude to the volunteer members of the Tourism Council and local promoters who practiced warm local kindness and volunteer activities,” and added, “We will continue the love tea (茶) sharing volunteer service with our members so that all returning hometown visitors and tourists can have a happy holiday without inconvenience.”
