According to major local foreign media including the South China Morning Post (SCMP) on the 25th, otolaryngologist Dr. Liang Wudong (62), who worked at Xinhua Hospital in Hubei Province, passed away.

Dr. Liang is suspected to have been infected with 'Wuhan pneumonia' on the 16th. He was then transferred to the designated hospital, Jinyintan Hospital, on the 18th for treatment but did not recover his health.
