Korea Startup Forum Hosts Startup Marketing Support Pitching Day
Over 170 Startups Apply for 'I WILL BE Baek 2020' Contest Supporting Marketing Activities Worth 300 Million KRW
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Korea Startup Forum (hereinafter referred to as Kospo) announced that the startup marketing support project "I WILL BE Baek 2020 (I Will Be Baek 2020)," jointly promoted with Focus Media Korea (CEO Yoon Je-hyun), will hold the final pitching day at the Federation of Korean Industries building in Yeouido on the 31st.
"I Will Be Baek 2020" is a startup-tailored marketing support project co-hosted by Kospo, a representative organization of domestic startups, and Focus Media Korea, which operates elevator TVs in Seoul and the metropolitan area. Through a public contest, a total of four teams were selected to receive benefits such as planning and production of video content worth about 300 million KRW and elevator TV advertising broadcasts.
The contest was held for about a month from the end of last year, with over 170 startups applying. Startups from various business areas such as mobility, food, women, education, culture, and healthcare were selected. Kospo explained that the selection was based on technology, stability, competitiveness, and growth potential, focusing on products and services that help improve life. The 10 startups will take the stage at the pitching day held at the Federation of Korean Industries building in Yeouido on the 31st to present their services and products, and four final companies will be selected through on-site judging.
