Iran Civil Aviation Authority: "Crashed Ukrainian Aircraft Downed by Two Tor Missiles"
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Je-hoon] Iran's Civil Aviation Organization (CAO) announced on the 21st (local time) that the Ukrainian passenger plane (B737-800) that crashed on January 8 was brought down by two short-range missiles.
According to Bloomberg News, the CAO released a second preliminary investigation report stating that the aircraft was shot down by two Tor-M1 missiles.
Earlier, on the 8th, Ukraine International Airlines Flight 752, departing from Tehran International Airport bound for Kyiv, Ukraine, crashed just over two minutes after takeoff, resulting in the deaths of all 176 passengers and crew on board.
