Ha Tae-kyung: "Formal Launch of Integration Discussion Body with Korean Party... Confidential for the Time Being"
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hye-min] Ha Tae-kyung, the responsible representative of the New Conservative Party, announced on the 21st that the joint consultative body between the two parties for discussions on integration with the Liberty Korea Party will be officially launched.
At the joint meeting of the delegation and youth held at the National Assembly that day, Representative Ha said, "From today, through the party-to-party consultative body, we will strongly promote the integration of the two parties to be an innovative and winning integration."
He explained, "This means that from today, a single official channel between the two parties has been launched," adding, "Out of consideration for the Innovation Integration Promotion Committee (Hyuktongwi), it was decided that confidentiality would be maintained for the time being, so the negotiation personnel, timing, and location will also remain confidential for now."
The consultative body plans to negotiate legal procedures for the establishment of a new party with the Liberty Korea Party.
Representative Ha stated that the New Conservative Party's consultative channel is the Conservative Reconstruction Committee. The chairman of the Conservative Reconstruction Committee is Assemblyman Yoo Seung-min, and the vice chairman is former Assemblyman Jeong Moon-heon.
