S-1 Appoints No Hee-chan, Samsung Electronics President, as New CEO
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] S-1 announced on the 20th that it has appointed No Hee-chan (59), president of Samsung Electronics, as the new CEO.
The new CEO No is a financial expert who graduated from Yonsei University with a degree in economics and has held positions such as head of the support team at Samsung Electronics Management Support Office, head of Samsung Display Management Support Office, and since November 2017, head of Samsung Electronics Management Support Office.
S-1 expects to nurture the company into a global security solutions firm by integrating experience in the electronics and display businesses.
