[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyesook] Lee Seung-woo (63), the new president of Incheon Urban Corporation, took office on the 20th.
At the inauguration ceremony, President Lee said, "I am pleased to be able to contribute and serve once again to the development of Incheon through the Incheon Urban Corporation, and at the same time, I feel a heavy sense of mission and responsibility. Moving forward, I will strive to build 'a special city of coexistence where citizens are happy,' the policy direction of the 7th Incheon Metropolitan Government, by completing the corporation's vision and five major management strategies."
He continued, "We will solidify our status as a public developer leading not only urban development but also urban regeneration and residential welfare through advanced financial management and profit generation by discovering new projects."

The new president previously served as the head of the Cheongna Project Team, Director of New Town Planning, and Head of the Wirye Project Headquarters at Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH). From 2015, he worked for two and a half years as the head of the Business Development Headquarters at Incheon Urban Corporation, overseeing urban development projects in the Incheon area such as Geomdan New Town, Yeongjong Sky City, and Midan City.
