At the New Year's press conference held on the 14th, President Moon was asked how he wanted to be remembered after his presidential term ended. He replied, "I do not think about the post-presidency," and said, "I want it to end with being president."
He continued, "I do not want to engage in any former president commemorative projects or be involved in current politics after my presidency," emphasizing, "I want to return as a forgotten person after doing my best and finishing."
