Gyeongnam Provincial Council's First Temporary Session of the New Year Opens on the 14th
Held 10 Temporary and Regular Sessions for 130 Days This Year

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Son Tae-seok] The Gyeongnam Provincial Council will hold its first extraordinary session of the year (the 369th session) from the 14th to the 21st.
On the 14th at 2 p.m., the council will open the extraordinary session to hear New Year's greetings from the Governor and the Superintendent of Education, decide on the session schedule, and handle general agenda items such as ordinances.
This year, the council will hold two regular sessions totaling 60 days (the first session for 17 days, the second for 43 days) and eight extraordinary sessions (each within 15 days), spanning a total of 70 days.
During the regular sessions held in June and November, the council will conduct approval of the 2019 fiscal year settlement, review supplementary budget proposals, conduct provincial administration questions, administrative audits, and review the 2021 budget proposal.
In particular, the 374th extraordinary session (June 26 to July 1), held immediately after the June regular session, will organize the chairperson group to lead the second half of the provincial council.
Provincial administration questions related to current issues will be conducted respectively at the 370th extraordinary session in February, the 373rd regular session in June, the 376th extraordinary session in September, and the 378th regular session in November.
