Hugel Launches 'PR4', a Cosmetic Brand Specialized for Clinics and Hospitals
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] Hugel announced on the 13th that it plans to launch a medical specialized skincare brand for skin procedure patients called 'PR4' and expand its business portfolio to intensify its competitiveness in the medical aesthetic market.
PR4 is a professional brand for clinics developed based on Hugel's specialized dermatological technology. Unlike general skincare, it offers customized solutions tailored to clinic skin procedures, differentiating itself from existing clinic-specialized cosmetics.
The newly launched brand PR4 embodies the meaning of professionally handling skin care based on four promises: ‘Proven’, ‘Prime (key ingredients)’, ‘Promotive’, and ‘Professional’.
PR4 is a new-concept skincare that helps minimize skin irritation caused by skin laser and other procedures and maintain the procedure effects. It contains Hugel’s proprietary ingredient, H.ECMTM Liposome, which aids skin regeneration and barrier recovery. The related composition is currently patent-pending.
H.ECMTM Liposome consists of three core components that make up the skin dermis: collagen, hyaluronic acid, and proteoglycan. These three ingredients are combined and enhanced with a liposome method to increase absorption.
The product line introduced this time is a Concentrate 2 Weeks Program designed to focus on caring for skin sensitized after procedures. It consists of three types centered on soothing, whitening, and regeneration effects.
A Hugel representative said, “Starting with this launch, we plan not only to release products but also to jointly conduct research, development, and marketing with domestic and international hospital networks, creating a win-win distribution structure with hospitals. Along with our existing business lines such as HA fillers and botulinum toxin formulations, we will build an integrated medical solution providing various skin procedure care with clinic-specialized cosmetics, becoming a true total medical aesthetic company.”
