Promise to Establish and Expand Industry-Academia Cooperation System
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Chosun Institute of Science and Technology (President Jo Soon-gye) announced on the 8th that it has signed the '6th Multilateral Business Agreement' with IBK Industrial Bank and 10 local companies.
At the signing ceremony held the previous day, about 100 people including IBK Industrial Bank Honam Regional Headquarters Director Cho Sung-soo and related officials, as well as representatives and officials from 10 local small and strong companies such as ▲Korea Commercial Truck Co., Ltd. ▲Dohyun Co., Ltd. ▲Hwajin Industry Co., Ltd. ▲SB Electronics Co., Ltd. ▲M-Tech Information Co., Ltd. ▲Changwon Co., Ltd. ▲Bomyung Electronics Co., Ltd. ▲Taehyung Solution Co., Ltd. ▲Juntech Co., Ltd. ▲Nasan Industry Co., Ltd. attended.
Through the agreement, Chosun Institute of Science and Technology promised to establish an industry-academia cooperation-friendly education system with IBK Industrial Bank and participating companies, and to support technology development and expand industry-academia cooperation by utilizing its equipment and research personnel.
IBK Industrial Bank agreed to provide employment and talent information to companies and universities, offer incentives to job-creating companies, and provide educational opportunities to enhance employment competitiveness. Participating companies agreed on matters related to cooperation in talent recruitment at Chosun Institute of Science and Technology, on-site corporate experience, joint technology development, and expansion of industry-academia cooperation.
Since 2014, Chosun Institute of Science and Technology and IBK Industrial Bank have been signing multilateral business agreements with local companies to activate region-customized talent recruitment and expand human and material exchanges, thereby forming a mutual trust network.
In fact, Chosun Institute of Science and Technology has involved 45 students in field training through multilateral business agreements with a total of 74 local companies so far, achieving a result of linking 34 students to employment.

President Jo Soon-gye of Chosun Institute of Science and Technology said, “We are signing multilateral business agreements as a way to revitalize industry-academia cooperation to expand youth employment in the region,” and added, “We will expand and operate on-site experience programs linked with local companies to spread a positive image of small and medium-sized enterprises and make greater efforts for employment linkage through manpower matching.”
