Bucheon City Expands Public Late-Night Pharmacies to 3 Locations... Open Until 1 AM
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyesook] Bucheon City in Gyeonggi Province will expand the operation of public late-night pharmacies from one to three starting this year.
The designated public late-night pharmacies are Saehyundai Pharmacy (Yeokgok-dong), Ppuri Pharmacy (Simgok-dong), and Dangol Pharmacy (Wonjong-dong). Professional pharmacists provide services such as medication guidance, prescription dispensing, and sales during late-night hours (10 PM to 1 AM) every day of the year.
Bucheon City comprehensively evaluated factors including pharmacy owners holding pharmacist licenses within the region, experience operating pharmacies during nighttime year-round, administrative sanctions related to unqualified drug sales in the past three years, pharmacy location, pharmacist willingness and capability, and utilization by local residents. After review by the public health center, the final public late-night pharmacies were selected.
