New CEO Choi previously served as head of Daewoo Electronics' Overseas Business Division, CEO of General Electric (GE) White Goods in the United States, CEO of Medison, and CEO of Kyungdong Navien. He is especially known for his expertise in overseas business.
Kiturami plans to increase its global market share by recruiting CEO Choi, who has extensive experience in discovering new businesses and pioneering overseas markets.
Song Kyungseok has been appointed as CEO of the holding company Kiturami Holdings. Song joined Kiturami Group in 2012 as head of the Management Division and has concurrently served as CEO of Kiturami Energy and Kiturami, making him well-versed in company affairs and recognized as a qualified expert in finance.
In November last year, Kiturami was split into the investment holding company 'Kiturami Holdings' and the business subsidiary 'Kiturami.' The existing Kiturami became the holding company 'Kiturami Holdings' after the split, and 'Kiturami' was newly established.

A Kiturami Group official stated, "We reached the conclusion that a major innovation is necessary amid the sense of crisis that the growth formula achieved over the past 50 years cannot guarantee the next 50 years," adding, "We plan to make 2020 the year of the second founding and strive to leap forward as a global heating, cooling, and air conditioning energy specialist group and achieve the new goal of 2 trillion won in group sales by 2023."
