On the 2nd, former lawmaker Jeong uploaded a video titled 'Bongdosa Talks About Jin Joong-kwon' on his YouTube channel.
On that day, former lawmaker Jeong said, "Don't talk about Jin Joong-kwon. He writes posts on Facebook to highlight his presence and gets excited when he receives attention. I appeared with Jin Joong-kwon on Channel A's 'Outsiders.'
He continued, "Isn't this friend a German-educated scholar? I don't know what he teaches at university, but my impression is that he doesn't study. He doesn't study at all," adding, "When you appear on a broadcast, shouldn't you research and investigate topics relevant to the show? You should read humanities books, but did he only study logic? He just mindlessly ruminates on what he learned in college like a fool," he criticized.
Meanwhile, on the 1st, former professor Jin criticized former Minister of Justice Cho Kuk, who is accused of interfering with work by allegedly taking his son's George Washington University exam on his behalf, during JTBC's New Year's special debate.
He said, "I also have open-book exams at school, but parents do not come to watch," and pointed out, "An exam tests how hard the student has studied, not how much the student has parents who studied a lot."
He added, "If open-book exams allowed parents to take the test on behalf of their children, then students who studied hard under uneducated parents would lose out to students who didn't study at all but had well-educated parents," he criticized.

Later, he also proposed a public debate with supporters of President Moon Jae-in. On the 2nd, Jin wrote on his Facebook, "Moonppa (a derogatory term for President Moon's ardent supporters), understand this," saying, "Even though they are so fanatical, they are actually kind people. They become wolves only within the group, but when they return to being individuals, they become as meek as a lamb. When they return to being individuals, they can't even say a word. They leave their thinking to others, so when they leave the group, they can't think for themselves at all," he said.
