[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] Jang Se-wook, Vice Chairman of Dongkuk Steel, presented "Upgrade Myself" as the New Year's keyword at this year's opening ceremony.
On the 2nd, Vice Chairman Jang held the opening ceremony at the headquarters in Euljiro, Seoul, attended by about 300 employees, stating, "Your growth and diverse experiences will be directly linked to the company's competitiveness."
As part of "Upgrade Myself," Vice Chairman Jang said that a system to support the growth and development of employees is being established.
Since 2017, Dongkuk Steel has been operating a "Personnel Information Summary" where employees select two personal goals and one company job-related goal at the beginning of each year and record them in their personnel introduction section.

Vice Chairman Jang emphasized, "We will upgrade this system into a knowledge-sharing platform to be used for strengthening individual and job competencies," adding, "Through this, we will systematically support employees' personal and job competencies."
