Police Suspect Fire Caused by Cigarette Butts Discarded in Luggage Compartment
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Yoseop] Around 3:10 PM on the 31st of last month, a fire broke out in the cargo bed of a 1-ton freight truck driving on Nakdong Bridge in Gupo-dong, Buk-gu, Busan.
According to the Busan Metropolitan Police Agency on the 2nd, the fire was extinguished within 5 minutes with no casualties, but items worth approximately 4 million won, including sofas in the cargo bed, were burned.
After the police arrived at the scene and conducted an investigation, no vehicle defects were found.
