McDonald's Korea announced on September 30 that its flagship local sourcing project, the "Taste of Korea" menu, has surpassed a cumulative sales volume of 30 million units as of this month.

The "Taste of Korea" menu was created to offer customers fresh and unique flavors using high-quality domestic ingredients, while also providing stable sales channels for local farms.

Ingredients that may be unfamiliar as burger components, such as sweet potatoes, garlic, and green onions-regional specialties from across Korea-have been reinterpreted and developed into menu items. This menu is recognized as a successful localization model, as it is the only McDonald's product line in the world to include regional names in the menu titles. The advertising campaign also attracted attention by featuring local farmers themselves as models.
