Although Ipchun has passed, subzero temperatures have hit the country, leading to the first cold wave warning of the year for most regions. On the 5th, the morning low dropped to minus 17 degrees Celsius, and the severe cold continues.
The Korea Meteorological Administration forecasted that until the 6th, morning temperatures in most areas nationwide will remain below minus 10 degrees Celsius, and strong winds during the day will make the perceived temperature even lower.
