Boseong County Invites You to Enjoy Two Outstanding Performances This May for Family Month
May 14: "Song Sohee × Second Moon × Oh Danhae: Modern Folk Songs"
May 22-23: Planned Performances Including "Super Turtle Super Rabbit"
In celebration of Family Month this May, the Boseong County Culture and Arts Center will present two high-quality planned performances in succession.
The first performance, <Song Sohee × Second Moon × Oh Danhae: Modern Folk Songs>, will take place at 7 p.m. on May 14. Renowned for her talent as a prodigy in Korean traditional music, vocalist Song Sohee will share the stage with Oh Danhae, beloved for her deeply resonant voice, and the world music group Second Moon.
This will be followed by the family musical <Super Turtle Super Rabbit>, to be held at 7 p.m. on May 22 and 2 p.m. on May 23. The production is based on the bestselling picture books "Super Turtle" and "Super Rabbit" by author Yoo Seolhwa, and reinterprets the classic fable of "The Tortoise and the Hare" from a contemporary perspective.
This series of performances was selected as part of the '2026 Performing Arts Regional Distribution Support Project,' hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and organized by the Arts Management Support Center. The initiative is designed to bring outstanding performances, usually centered in the capital region, closer to local audiences.
The Boseong County Culture and Arts Center also plans to present a diverse array of performances throughout the year, including the play <Hello Miss Mister> in June, <Steal the Stars> and <Mrs. Ma Cam> in July, and <Korean Language Class> in August.
