[Winners Club] Young Changed Only One Club
Dominates Cadillac Championship Signature Event by Six Strokes
Swaps Out GT1 Hybrid, Adds GTS3 Wood
Conquers Challenging Course with Loft-Enhancing Club Face
Cameron Young (USA) made a change after capturing his second career victory at THE PLAYERS Championship, considered the fifth major of the PGA Tour, last month. He replaced his GT1 hybrid with a new GTS3 7-wood in his bag. The new GTS3 7-wood features the same bright-colored face as the prototype GTS3 Tour 3-wood. This brighter face often creates the effect of making the club’s loft appear greater.

The Trump National Doral Blue Monster Course is known for its difficulty, where overaggressive play can result in scores as high as 80. It is crucial to distinguish between when to attack and when to play defensively. On the final day, Young’s smart course management stood out. He recorded an average driving distance of 322.40 yards (7th) and a fairway hit rate of 71.43% (tied for 7th). He displayed skills that overwhelmed competitors such as Scottie Scheffler (USA) and Kim Siwoo, adding another trophy to his collection.
