National Assemblyman Kim Seon-kyo was also present, raising the hands of the candidates to appeal for support.
The event was hosted by comedian Kim Jongguk. Former President of the Korea Senior Citizens Association, Kim Hoil, delivered a speech targeting the senior electorate, adding weight to the proceedings. Afterwards, Cho Seunghwan, known as the "barefoot man," delivered a passionate speech to the younger generation, further energizing the crowd. The diverse lineup of speakers, spanning generations and fields, was met with cheers and applause from the county residents in attendance.
This launch ceremony broke away from the traditional one-sided candidate speech format and was instead designed as a "communication-style campaign," directly gathering voices from a wide range of residents on site, which received a positive response from the community.
In front of the campaign vehicle, residents from various walks of life—including young business owners, parents with strollers, and elderly people from rural areas—took the microphone to share pressing local issues. They called for specific solutions, saying, "Please do not ignore the reality faced by young people who commute to Seoul every day due to a lack of local jobs," and "Make Yangpyeong a place where children can be raised without concerns about childcare." Candidate Jeon Jinseon earnestly listened and carefully noted each piece of feedback and suggestion from the residents in his notebook.
Jeon Jinseon and other People Power Party candidates jointly announced five key pledges for changing Yangpyeong's future.
The main pledges included: expanding transportation infrastructure centered on the Seoul-Yangpyeong Expressway and Gangha Interchange; creating Yangpyeong-tailored job opportunities; building an education and childcare environment where it is easy to raise children; strengthening welfare for the elderly, people with disabilities, and those with limited mobility; and securing sustainable growth engines through the harmonious development of agriculture, the environment, and tourism.
Candidate Jeon stated, "If the past four years were spent laying a solid foundation for Yangpyeong, the next four years will be a time to fully deliver those results into the lives of county residents." He added, "Rather than a county government run solely by the governor, I will lead regional development through 'One Team Yangpyeong,' where all provincial and county council members unite."

Meanwhile, National Assemblyman Kim Seon-kyo (Chair of the Gyeonggi Provincial Party) also attended the event, raising the candidates' hands together and making a strong appeal for full support.
